Ingredients for brown rice

Cooked Doña Maria® Jasponica® Brown Rice
Rosemary
Salt

Procedures
1. In a stockpot, sear the beef with olive oil
2. Remove the beef, On a same pot, saute button mushrooms then add beef stock
3. Add the flour to make a roux. This is a shortcut version of making a roux. (Roux is a mixture of flour and fat that, after being slowly cooked over low heat, is used to thicken mixtures such as soups and sauces.)
4. Stir in red and green bell pepper, rosemary, thyme and tomato paste. Simmer until thoroughly cooked.
5. Season with salt and pepper. Add fresh lemon juice to neutralize the flavor
6. Stir in parmesan cheese and fresh basil leaves. Set aside.
7. On a separate frying pan, saute rosemary with olive oil. Then add Doña Maria® Jasponica® Brown Rice.
8. Mix the rice until all the flavors incorporated. Serve with the beef on top.
